Cancellation policy

All payments are non-refundable unless the course is cancelled by Survival in Canada. However, we do realize that sometimes circumstances outside our control interfere with our plans. Life happens!

In this case, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will try to find a mutually agreeable substitute course.

    Equipment Checklist

    This checklist will ensure that you arrive with clothing and equipment suitable for the course environment and activities. If you have a knife, survival kit, GPS, compass, or any other piece of equipment that you like to use or wish to try out, bring it along!

    Please contact us if you have any questions or issues with the list. We do have some equipment available for student use upon request.

    Outdoor clothing, suitable for a typical day-hike.
    Rain wear/waterproof clothing.

    Hiking boots or solid runners.

    We teach Outdoor Essentials in and around Capilano University in North Vancouver. Specific location details will be sent by email prior to course start.
